Here at Peak Performance Sports Camps, we go out and hire the best coaches and directors to ensure that your children will have a safe and developmentally appropriate experience each and every day they are with us!

Sean Ireland

Sean has served as the Director of All Sports Camps, Vacation Camps, and Soccer Camps for over 8 years. Sean is a Physical Education Teacher at Norwalk High, CT, where he is also Head Varsity Football Coach. Sean was named MSG Varsity Connecticut Coach of the Year 2011. Sean brings a wealth of knowledge and a lot of positive energy to the camps. Sean is great with the campers, parents and staff. Sean is back for another great summer, will serve as the Stamford Site Director and will make the Peak Performance Sports Camps a fun and safe experience for all participants! Sean will have a top notch staff working with him consisting of various teachers and college students, and high school seniors. The other high school students and junior counselors on the staff serve as great assistants to our head coaches.

Ryan Smart

Ryan Smart has served as the Director of All Sports Camps, Vacation Camps, and Baseball Camps for over 8 years. Ryan will run the Peak Performance Baseball Camp alongside a very qualified and talented coaching staff. Ryan will also direct the Peak Performance All Sports Camp. Ryan brings great enthusiasm and high energy to our camps. He is great with our campers, parents and staff alike. Ryan has been a Physical Education teacher in Greenwich, CT at Greenwich Catholic for the last 8 years. Ryan's experience as a teacher and coach at Greenwich Catholic, allows him to provide a fun, safe and developmentally appropriate setting for your children.

Kevin Ireland

Kevin Ireland has been a member of the staff for 7 years. Kevin is going to direct the Peak Performance Basketball Camp and Flag Football Camp.. Kevin does an amazing job of motivating the campers to perform to the best of their abilities. He uses his basketball and football knowledge and his high energy levels to get his campers pumped up each day! All our campers love coming back each week knowing Kevin is there.  Kevin coaches at St. Lukes and works at O'Neills Restaurant in Norwalk, CT, where he also lives with his wife and 3 children.

Jason Shaugnessey

Jason has served as the Director of All Sports Camps for over a decade. Jason is a Physical Education Teacher at Fairfield Warde High School, CT. He has served as the Head Varsity Wrestling Coach for the two time State Champion Warde Mustangs for the last 13 years. Jason has been voted FCIAC and Class L State Coach of the Year two times. Jason brings a wealth of knowledge and a lot of positive energy to the camps. He serves as the coordinator for the Peak Perforamance Sports Camps programs in Fairfield and Directs Westport Summer Camps. Jason has taught Physical Education for over 15 years K-12 and is great with the campers, parents and staff. Jason is back for another great summer and will make the Peak Performance Sports Camps a fun and safe experience for all participants! Jason will have a top notch staff working with him consisting of various teachers and college students, and high school seniors. The other high school students and junior counselors on the staff serve as great assistants to our head coaches.
